Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan’s Punyatithi

Wednesday January 2, 2019

On 2nd January 1988, Ambalalbhai Muljibhai Patel, known as Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan, left His mortal body. An emptiness was created due to the physical absence of the Gnani Purush (Self-realized person). However, even today He lives in the heart of all those met Him.

Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan attained spontaneous Self Realization in June 1958. His teachings are spread through the spiritual science of Akram Vignan. In this vast science, He has also disclosed the science behind death. He explains that at the time of death, the Pure Self goes into the next life and along with the Self goes the good and bad karmas in the form of a plan. From the human form, one can go into the animal form, to celestial form or even to hell and then back into the human form. He becomes whatever he binds (causes). It is only in the human form that one binds karmas. No other life forms bind karmas. In other life forms they only experience the effects of their karma. In the human form, one causes new karmas and also experiences effects of past karmas.

So how can we stop karmas from binding? Param Pujya Dadashri says, “Once you come into the nature of the Self, no new karma will bind. This happens when the Gnani Purush makes you aware of your own Pure Self. After that, new karmas do not bind and old karmas continue to discharge. When all the karmas have discharged, you will attain final liberation.”

So on the Punyatithi of Gnani Purush (Self-realized person) Param Pujya Dadashri, let us all make a wish to meet a Self-realized person, who can make us realize our Pure Self and guide us towards the path of Moksha (Ultimate Liberation).
