Makar -Sankranti -2015

January 14, is Makar Sankranti also known as the Kite Flying Festival.

But did you ever wonder how you can relate colourful kites with words? Well, just as kites soar in the air, so do words. The words we speak and the intent we say them with, travel through the air as vibrations and reach the opposite person. So if we speak kind, sweet words with a positive intent, then positive vibrations reach the opposite person. And if we speak harsh, hurtful words with a negative intent then negative vibrations reach the opposite person.

But what does it matter what kind of speech we use and the vibrations the opposite person receives?

Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan provides the answer,

The “One who speaks ‘completely’ negative creates karmic obstructions (antray) and ‘positive’ does not create any obstruction (antray).”

So the decision is ours. Those of us, who do not want any karmic obstructions, should only speak positive words, isn’t it?
