Happy Valentine's Day

Thursday February 13, 2014

February 14th, also known as Valentine’s Day, is a day where people from around the world and all walks of life, celebrate love. But should love only be celebrated for one day? How about for one year? Or better yet a life time? And if we do celebrate love for a life time, then what type of love should it be? Should it just be love or should it be true love? And if we celebrate true love then what is true love? How can we recognize it? Gnani Purush Dada Bhagwan says that the qualities of true love include not seeing even a single fault in the other person. He says that true love is a steady inner feeling that neither rises nor falls as per the other person’s appearance, their actions, or one’s own circumstances. That’s probably why it is said that true love never dies. These are the qualities of true or pure love and these qualities set true love apart from illusions such as attraction or infatuation.

If our love does not waiver depending on the other person’s actions, their appearance and our circumstances then there remains no room for conflict, grudges, and revenge. This in itself gives rise to a flawless vision. And Dadashri calls this supreme love and in order to become the living embodiment of pure love, He says you need to know your Real Self! Are you eager to know and realize true love? Then why don’t you come and take the first step by attending a Self-Realization Ceremony.
