Happy Mother's Day

Mother’s Day is…

A special day to honor our mother for the most important role that she plays in our lives.

A mother is a mirror in which a child sees itself. A mother is the very first person with whom the child recognizes itself. Hence, the credit for all that we are today, goes to her…always…

However, times are not always rosy. We do have our share of disagreements, conflicts, complaints, dissatisfaction etc. with her. These days we see both parents and children complaining that they do not understand each other.  All these differences arise because of different viewpoints. In order to maintain a loving and healthy relation at home, it is important to understand our parents’ viewpoint. Even if our mother belongs to an older generation, it does not make us any wiser than her. She brings with her the rich experiences of all her years.

Our home can become a ‘Happy Home’ only if it is free from conflicts.

The best gift that we can give to our mother on this Mother’s Day is the promise to respect her perspective and thus, avoid all conflicts with her.
