As January 14th comes around, everyone becomes preoccupied with flying kites. Like all festivals this festival also has significance, but what is it? Rushimunis (Sages with great spiritual power and saints) and Param Pujya Dadashri have said that the rays of the sun on this day are extremely special. If the rays of the sun go into our eyes on this day, then it is very beneficial to you. So the real significance of the festival is actually to let the sun’s rays penetrate your eyes, not to fly kites.
