Adalaj Special Children’s Session

Sunday February 23, 2014

On 22 February 2014, 450 children from Simandhar City, (Adalaj), India had a special session with Pujya Deepakbhai. Teenage boys with balloons, on motorcycles escorted Pujyashree to the Dada Nagar Satsang Hall from his home.

This was followed by children of all ages, 3 to 21 years, both boys and girls welcoming Pujyashree into the hall, by covering the floor with flowers for him to walk on.

Then a parade, lead by Pujyashree, followed by all the children, escorted him to his seat.

The theme for the entire event was how the children were before they started coming to children’s satsang and how they had changed subsequently. The performances started with an interesting Shadow Dance performed by teenage boys.

The shadow dance was followed by a dazzling drama dance, which was performed by babies aged 3 to 7 years, little children aged 8 to 12 years and teenage girls aged 13 to 21 years.

The dances were followed by a photo session with Pujya Deepakbhai.

After that all the children had the great opportunity to ask Pujyashree questions in a special Q & A session especially for them. Here is a sample of the questions asked, which the children obtained the right understanding for from Pujyashree, “How can I concentrate in my studies?”, “I get irritated when someone teases me, what should I do?”, “I get upset with my mom when she doesn’t make my favorite food?”, “How did you become a Gnani (The Awakened One)?”, “What is Mahavideh Kshetra?”, “Where is Simandhar Swami?” and “When it comes to studying I am very lazy, how should I motivate myself?

And last but not least, all the children bade farewell to Pujyashree after they all had a scrumptious dinner together.
