Shree Simandhar Swami's Janma Kalyanak

This auspicious day marks the birth of Shree Simandhar Swami, who is the current living Tirthankar (Fully Enlightened Being), who can free us from worldly bondages! How blessed we are to have been introduced to this Vitarag Lord by Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan!

So let us understand the importance of a living Tirthankar using an example. What if you wanted to buy something but had no money in your wallet? Would you be able to buy it on the basis of your past spending or your future earnings? No, right? Only cash on hand is useful at that time. In the same way, bhakti of the past and the future Tirthankar Lords is going to earn us merit karmas; but only the present living Tirthankar can help us attain ultimate Liberation!

By praying to Shree Simandhar Swami, He can guide us on the path of permanent spiritual bliss. Our devotion towards Him can lead us to Him in our next life and in His presence; we too can attain final liberation!

So on this very auspicious day, let us realize the importance of the present Tirthankar, Shree Simandhar Swami and strengthen our resolutions to achieve our ultimate goal of liberation!
