Shree Simandhar Swami’s Janma Kalyanak

Suppose you encounter some problem in your life. Who do you think will come to your help at the earliest - someone who’s living right next to you, or your dear Aunt who stays abroad? 

Obviously, one who is nearest can help us the fastest!

Similarly, we may have great devotion and love towards the Gods and Goddesses of our faith, which is very good; there’s absolutely no harm in that! But should we not know which Lord is the closest to us? 

Gnanis, the Enlightened Ones, have discovered that Lord Simandhar Swami, who is presently residing in Mahavideh Kshetra (the neighbouring world), is the closest to our Bharat Kshetra (the world we reside in); and hence our prayers reach him the fastest. 

Lord Simandhar Swami Is A Tirthankar!!!

Just like Lord Rishabhdev and Lord Mahavir were the Tirthankaras in Bharat Kshetra, Lord Simandhar is the present living Tirthankar in another location called Mahavideh Kshetra. The ‘Tirthankar’ status is no ordinary status; in fact it is the topmost and the toughest status to attain in this world! One can achieve salvation only when one does the real darshan (see with utmost reverence and experience what He is experiencing spiritually) of Tirthankar!!! 

Recognizing the living Tirthankar, awakening one’s devotion for Him, establishing a connection with Him through continuous worship, attaining His live darshan and acquiring Keval-Gnan (Absolute Enlightenment) verily is the only way we can make it through the narrow path of liberation. This is what the Gnanis say!! 

As Our Worship and Devotion for the Lord Increases, So Will Our Connection with Him Grow

Because of the difference in two worlds, physically, we cannot meet Lord Simandhar Swami in this birth. 

But Param Pujya Dadashri shows us the easy way to connect with Him from here. He says, “Lord Simandhar Swami is present, but not in our world, He is in another world. You need a medium through which you can make a connection with Lord Simandhar Swami. I have a natural connection with Him; and the whole world can benefit from this. I have such good relationship with Simandhar Swami that if you do His darshan as I instruct you, it will reach all the way to Him (in Mahavideh Kshetra).” 

He further advises us to offer our obeisance to Lord Simandhar Swami, by saying the following prayer at least 40 times, everyday: “In the witness of Dada Bhagwan, with utmost reverence and devotion, I bow to Tirthankar Lord Shri Simandhar Swami, who is currently resided in Mahavideh Kshetra.”

The Benefit Is Tremendous!

Those who constantly revere Lord Simandhar, worship Him, do His live darshan there, be near Him and sit at His feet, attain complete liberation. There is enormous benefit in being in the presence of the Living Tirthankar, as the vibrations of His Absolute pure Self and the pure atoms of His physical body are floating around in the entire atmosphere. 

Therefore, today on the most pious occasion of Lord Simandhar Swami’s Janma Kalyanak (Birthday), come, let us establish a strong, stronger, strongest connection with the Lord, along with a pure wish in our heart, that in our next birth, we get to stay near Him, and with His grace we attain ultimate liberation!
