Happy Mothers’ Day!
This is the day to honor and appreciate the importance and love of all Mothers. There’s no greater worldly love than that of a Mother!
A mother plays a pivotal role in the life of her child’s growth and development. Mother nurtures the future of the country with great love, care and good cultural values. She ensures that her child stands up, becomes a responsible human being and leads a very happy life.
Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan always said, his mother, Zaverba, was a very noble lady; and he described how his mother played an important role in his life since childhood; how she molded his character to make him an extraordinary figure. Let’s take a quick glimpse of one such incidence in Param Pujya Dadashri’s life to understand this.
One day, the little Ambalal (Param Pujya Dadashri) came home, having fought with another boy, who stayed in his neighbourhood. He beat the other boy such that he had started to bleed. When Zaverba got to know about it, she very lovingly explained to Ambalal, “My dear, just as you did, if someone hit and bruised you, I would have to apply medicine to you, isn’t it? Right now, that boy’s mother too must be applying medicine on her child’s wounds. He must be crying and must be in so much of pain! So, look son, from now on, never hurt anyone. If you come home hurt, I will take care of you.” Such was her nobility!!
She lovingly and compassionately made Param Pujya Dadashri understand why he should not beat others. She taught him the highest lesson of life, ‘never hurt others; not even when someone hurts you’; and thus instilled in him the virtues of nobility and non-violence. This is how a mother makes her child a Mahavir!!!
Since today is a special day, celebrated in the honor of that special person who brought us in this world, taught us moral values so that we become a good human being, inculcated in us great virtues to help strengthen our inner personality, and showered all her blessings onto us so that we can accomplish our goals and lead a successful life; so, let us all, greet our dear Mother today, feeling greatly grateful to her for making us reach where we have, in our life today!
