Happy Ram Navmi

Ram Navmi -2015

Ram Navmi is a celebration of Lord Ram’s birth. In honor of this joyous occasion why don’t we learn an important lesson from Lord Ram’s life. On the night before His coronation as King, Lord Ram followed his father’s wish and left for a 14 year-long exile the very next day. All this was in order to finish His karmas.

So why don’t we try to apply this understanding and finish our karmas? Param Pujya Dadashri says, “If someone bothers you, you should understand that you must have done something bad to him in your past life, and now he is returning the favor. So you must resolve the situation calmly and peacefully. But because you cannot remain peaceful, you end up sowing new seeds of karma there is only one way to deal with karmas bound from the previous life and that is through peace and equanimity. You should not have a single bad thought about other people. You should simply feel that you are experiencing your account and that whatever the person may be doing to you is all on account of your own karma. You should understand that you are suffering because of your own previous bad deeds. Only then is there any freedom.”

Pujya Niruma’s 9th Punyatithi

Puyja Niruma, fondly known as Niruma, was a medical doctor by profession. On July 8 1968, she attained Self-Realization from Param Pujya Dadashri. This realization came into her experience and helped her even when her father passed away. After this experience Pujya Niruma decided to spend her life to help fulfill Param Pujya Dadashri’s mission for the salvation of the world.

Due to the fact that the love she showered on everyone around her was incomparable and unconditional, she became lovingly addressed as 'Niruma' - a Mother, an Embodiment of pure love. Her loving nature was able to provide people with a comfortable, open environment where they could not only share their problems with her, but also receive a solution from her.

On March 19 2006, when Pujya Niruma left her mortal body her final message to all was - "Live with Love...Promise?” So what can we do keep her promise? In order to keep her promise we first need to understand the correct meaning of pure love, which Pujya Niruma made everyone experience till her last breath.

Param Pujya Dadashri says, “Real love is divine. Real love begins the moment one begins to understand one’s Real Self (the Soul).” But where can one find such real love in this day and age? Param Pujya Dadashri explains, “All diseases can be abolished through love. You will find it from the Gnani Purush or from His ‘followers’ (mahatmas).”

Happy 45th Gnan Day Pujya Deepakbhai!

On 6 March 1971, Pujya Deepakbhai received the Knowledge of the Self from Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan. Before this Pujya Deepakbhai did not find pleasure in the worldly life, but after receiving this Knowledge his life completely changed.

This knowledge ignited within him, the continuous contemplation of the Self, to the point that, in 1977, Pujya Dadashri noted that Pujya Deepakbhai’s level of awareness had reached such a great height, which no one in the last 2500 years had reached.

Happy Maha Shivratri!

On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri seekers never forget to chant ‘Shivoham, Shivoham’ meaning I am Shiva, I am Shiva - there is no distinction between Shiva and my true Self. But what is the true meaning of Shiva?

Param Pujya Dadashri explains, “Due to wrong belief, [one] became jiva - that which lives and dies. One is a Shiva, but illusion has arisen; wrong belief has set in. It does not take long for jiva to become Shiva. When a Gnani Purush fractures the wrong belief and replaces it with the right belief, one becomes the Self again, one becomes Shiva.”

During the Self Realization Ceremony this wrong belief is broken and the right belief that ‘I am a Pure Soul’ sets in, making one Shiva. So why not take advantage and go from jiva to Shiva in the true sense, by taking part in a Self Realization Ceremony near you?

Happy Valentine’s Day!

We all strive to become Embodiments of Love, especially when it comes to Valentine’s Day. But who can we call the Embodiment of Love? And more importantly, how do we become an Embodiment of Love? Let’s find out what Param Pujya Dadashri says about this,

“If one understands the world exactly as it is, and then experiences it from that perspective, then he will become the embodiment of love. What does 'as it is' mean? It means that all living beings are innocent. They are flawless. It is because of illusion that one sees faults in others.

It is an illusion if people appear good and it is also an illusion if they appear to have faults. The former is because of attachment and the latter because of detachment. In reality everyone is faultless. When you see faults in them, you cannot love them. So when you see the world as faultless, that is when pure love will arise. As long as we look upon others as being separate from ourselves, we feel a sense of 'mine' and 'yours'. As long as you keep differences with the other person, you will have attachment towards your own. Those for whom we have attachment, we consider 'ours' and those with whom we feel detachment, we consider as belonging to others. A person with this kind of discrimination can never become an embodiment of love.

The nature of the Self is love and with such a love, one forgets all one's problems. Once bound through this love, nothing else can bind you.

When does love arise? It is when you ask for forgiveness for all mistakes that have occurred so far. You accept that you, and only you are at fault for seeing fault in others. You should take this approach with those for whom you wish to become the embodiment of love. Only then will you feel love.”

Life-Instilling Ceremony of the Trimandir (Non-sectarian Temple) in Amreli (Gujarat), India

As per Param Pujya Dadashri’s desire, a Trimandir (Non-sectarian temple) was built in Amreli (Guajrat), India. Pujya Deepakbhai, in the presence of thousands of followers, on 8 February performed the Pran-Pratishtha (life-instilling ceremony) of the idols in the Trimandir (Non-sectarian Temple). Thousands of followers from around the world also watched the live web-cast. The Trimandir radiated with divine energies throughout the entire event and the subtle presence of Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan, Pujya Niruma and Dev-Devis was felt throughout the day.

Amreli Trimandir

Pujya Deepakbhai performed the Pran-Pratishtha of all the idols in the morning. After which He asked all followers to pray that the living Lord Simandhar Swami’s presence spreads throughout the entire world providing permanent peace and happiness to all, and opens up the path for spiritual progress to all visitors so that they too can benefit and attain moksha (liberation). The temple was then open for darshan. Idols of Lord Simandhar Swami, Lord Krishna and Lord Shiva, the three major religions in India, as well as idols of other Gods and Goddesses (including Lord Ganesh, Lord Hanuman, Shri Saibaba, Lord Mahavir, Amba Mataji, Padmavati Devi, Chakreshvari Mataji and Khodiyar Mataji – just to name a few) are housed under the roof of the Trimandir.
