Mother’s Day is not only a celebration which honors mothers, but it is also a celebration of motherhood. One day is not enough to celebrate the significance of mothers in our lives, who do so much for us day in, day out, but on this day we get the opportunity to show our love and appreciation for our mothers.
Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan has said that, if love is to be found anywhere in this world, it is within a mother! Have you wondered why a mother’s love is considered the highest in the world? It is because of the sacrifice and the selflessness in that love. Because of this love, every child feels an intense oneness with their mother.
Wouldn’t it be great if everyone in this world felt that same oneness with each other? How? By making a promise to ourselves and following in the footsteps of our mother and we too can become selfless and in turn create a oneness with the world!
On this very special day, let us all honor our mothers, by learning something from them. Just like our mothers put our happiness before their own, we can also strive to do the same with others. This way we will create oneness within this world.

This auspicious day marks the birth of Shree Simandhar Swami, who is the current living Tirthankar (Fully Enlightened Being), who can free us from worldly bondages! How blessed we are to have been introduced to this Vitarag Lord by Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan!
So let us understand the importance of a living Tirthankar using an example. What if you wanted to buy something but had no money in your wallet? Would you be able to buy it on the basis of your past spending or your future earnings? No, right? Only cash on hand is useful at that time. In the same way, bhakti of the past and the future Tirthankar Lords is going to earn us merit karmas; but only the present living Tirthankar can help us attain ultimate Liberation!
By praying to Shree Simandhar Swami, He can guide us on the path of permanent spiritual bliss. Our devotion towards Him can lead us to Him in our next life and in His presence; we too can attain final liberation!
So on this very auspicious day, let us realize the importance of the present Tirthankar, Shree Simandhar Swami and strengthen our resolutions to achieve our ultimate goal of liberation!

Mahavir Jayanti is the celebration of Lord Mahavir’s Birthday. Lord Maharvir was the 24th Tirthankar (Fully Enlightened Being) of the current time cycle. On this auspicious occasion let’s look at the definition of one of His Mahavrats – Ahimsa. Ahimsa is the practice of non-violence towards all living beings through the mind, speech and body. When one practices ahimsa a feeling of oneness is established with all living beings. One abides by the principle of "Live and let Live".
Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan says that, “Whoever desires to do so, can do it. If the goal of ahimsa is not attained in one lifetime, it will be attained in two or three life times. If your goal and decision is firm and you maintain ahimsa in your awareness, then absolute ahimsa is inevitable.”
He explains that, “The definition of ahimsa is: to maintain the awareness to not hurt any living being, even in the slightest degree, through your mind, speech and actions. You will make spiritual progress when this principle remains firm in your conviction and awareness.”
So this Mahavir Jayanti, let us decide to keep the strong inner intent not to hurt anyone though our mind, speech and body!

Ram Navmi marks the auspicious day of the birth of Lord Ram, who is revered for His endless compassion, courage and devotion to religious values and duty. He is revered even today, after thousands of years, because of these virtues. Lord Ram’s true devotees are His representative and should embody the same qualities as the Lord.
But in this day and age, how can we become Lord Ram’s true devotees? How can we live by the same principles that Lord Ram lived by His whole life? Well, even if we cannot give everyone around us happiness, let us at least try not to give anyone any pain. Let us aim to keep out thoughts positive, no matter what is going on around us. Instead of criticizing people for treating us badly, let us resolve not to treat anyone badly no matter the circumstances. What do you think; can we not strive to change so that Lord Ram can be proud of us?
If we obtain some right understanding our behavior will automatically improve by itself. This right understanding can be obtained through Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan’s Knowledge of the Self. And by applying the Knowledge of the Self, we can stop hurting others through our mind, speech and body, and as a result become Lord Ram’s true devotees!
