It was 19th March 2024 early morning! As the sun dawned, heard some music and a familiar song. And when taken from a sky view, streams of people were seen flowing through almost every lane in and around ATPL and Simandhar City, Trimandir Adalaj, Gujarat.

Yes, the occasion was Pujya Niruma’s 18th Punyatithi! 19th March commemorates the day when Pujya Niruma left behind the mortal body and advanced to a higher state, from where She continues Her Jagatkalyan work in full swing, even today. All Her life, Pujya Niruma guided people in the right direction so that they find peace while living their worldly life and at the same time, progress on the path of salvation as well. And eighteen years ago, on 19th March 2006, even while leaving, with Her last words ‘Prem thi Rehjo, Promise??’, She bound us all in a Promise, on fulfillment of which, our every purpose of life gets fulfilled with ease.

19th March – a reminder of our promise to Pujya Niruma

At the Dadanagar Convention Hall, soon after the Vidhi-Aarti by the followers was done, Pujyashree Deepakbhai arrived there and, in His special message, explained to the followers that when can we be said to have fulfilled the promise given to Pujya Niruma?

If someone insults us badly, and after two hours he happens to meet us again, then there is no feeling of separation (judaai) for the person who insulted us, our love towards that person remains the same. If someone gives us respect, we do not go overboard. If he comes to us after two hours, we do not have any attachment for him/her, our detached love towards that person is the same. So, one who gives us respect and one who gives us insult, when there’s equal love towards both of them, then he is said to have become Prem-swarup (Embodiment of Love). No matter how much loss one may have caused to us or how much gain one has caused to us, we have equal love towards both. Irrespective of how much hurt one may have caused to us; whenever s/he happens to meet, our love is the same.

‘Niruma’ – a saga of an ideal disciple exhibiting beautiful surrender and wonderful dedication

In the evening, a special video ‘Gnani ni Saachi Odakh’, greatly inspired everyone to the kind of recognition of the Gnani Purush Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan that Pujya Niruma had. Pujya Niruma surrendered to Dadashri as soon as she saw Him and remained so till the end of Her life. Dadashri had carved Her from a rough stone and shaped Her to a beautiful idol of God by chipping away Her ego and false pride with chisel and hammer. So, the stone did not move at all, and with param vinay (absolute humility), it took all the hammerings. And thus, Pujya Niruma reached the state of Gnani!

On this day, in the evening, there was a Bhakti programme, where Swarup kirtan bhakti was followed by the pad bhakti. The devotional songs, that were sung live by the followers, invoked the loving memories of Pujya Niruma in the hearts of the audience, expressed Her virtues of complete surrender, total faith, incredible dedication and absolute oneness and love towards Gnani and His salvation work, and also made everyone realize how Dadashri and only Dadashri resided in Her heart. Day and night, She was in the worship of Dadashri. It’s a rule that whomever you worship, you become so!!! Thus, Pujya Niruma, through Her exemplary life, has shown to the world how an ideal surrender towards Gnani is!

So come, let us also take the blessings of our most loved Niruma and pray to Her that may we be granted the best of the strength to live our life in complete surrender to Pratyaksh Gnani (current living Enlightened One)-an exceptional sculptor, who with His utter compassion and love, is ready to chip away all our ego, lust, false pride, attachments and greed and create an idol worthy to go to Moksha!

Waters from almost every river in India, big and small, were collected in a pot, and with this jal, the Prakshal was done! After Prakshal, Pujyashree bowed down and took the Lord’s most precious blessings. Thereafter, He performed the Pujan and Aarti of Lord Simandhar Swami.

The Pujan of Lord Rishabhdev, Lord Ajitnath, Lord Parshvanath and Lord Mahavir; of Lord Padmanabh, the future Tirthankar; of Lord Shri Krishna and Lord Shiva; of Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan, who inspired this concept of the non-sectarian temple of Trimandir; of every idol of Gods-Goddesses, of Pujya Niruma; and last but not the least, of Sai Baba too, was done in the same manner, followed by various Aartis performed by Pujyashree, along with the followers.

One can well imagine how ecstatic the entire atmosphere in this Bhavnagar Trimandir was on this day, amidst Pujyashree’s purest Pran Pratishtha; amidst every ritual of Pujan and Aarti done, taking along the superlative bhaav of all followers; amidst most melodious devotional songs that were sung with great bhaav, matching the lyrics with the scene live at that moment; and the ultimate topmost jagat-kalyan bhaav ticking in every heart joint with this event.

The event began on the November 22nd evening with a beautiful Shobha Yatra through the venue ground, where the followers had queued up in high spirits to welcome their beloved Pujyashree Deepakbhai in person and  Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan and Pujya Niruma in the subtle form.

To start with, 116 little kids and youth presented an awesome cultural programme performance on the stage, which was quite quick and swift in connecting each and every person watching it. Soon following it, was a beautiful satsang of Pujyashree, whose words invoked bhakti of an altogether different level in the hearts of people towards Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan and inspired us all to come out of our faults. On the occasion, he also released a double bonanza for the progress of the followers on the path of salvation:

Gnanvani (in the voice of Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan) Part 42 and Part 43, and

  1. Two books on how to get rid of Vyasan (addiction) in life,
    a. 'Vyasan mukti no marg' for beginners and
    b. 'Vyasan mukti ni vaignyanik reet’ for the Self-realized followers, showing a scientific way to come out of any fault that is hindering their progress on the path of liberation.

Over the next two days too, there were Satsangs in the morning as well as evening for the followers, who obtained very useful guidance regarding their burning questions and few also shared their experiences. As always, the Satsangs did their beautiful bit in taking every follower one step ahead of where they stood. Our heart-felt obeisance to this most precious Gnani and the incredible Gnan!!!

On Nov 23rd evening, there was ‘Daayro’, performed by a follower Vimalbhai Mehta from Amreli, where he entertained the followers present in huge numbers, with a variety of things; the most heart-touching being an illustration of how Mother's love means everything to the child in his life, and the way ‘Niruma as a Mother’ has impacted each and every follower’s life through her 'Vatsalya' is even far more superior than any Mother’s love. Pujyashree here made a special remark that Niruma’s Vatsalya has not reduced after she’s gone from here, on the contrary, it has increased multifold, which every follower has experienced.

The next day evening, there was Garba organized, where a team of musicians and singers performed live for the the followers. As Pujyashree made an entry onto the stage, the jubilation of the followers soared to super heights. While their feet were dancing to the tunes of Dada's melodious pad bhakti, all the eyes were anxiously waiting to see Pujyashree arrive for the Garba.

The sprawling ground on which the Janma Jayanti celebration is taking place has in it an elaborate Theme park, comprising of video shows and activities that educate and enlighten people on various topics that are very useful in life and a nice cozy Kids Park too, where there’s lots the little stars could learn from. One of the shows ‘Siren’, alerting us regarding our false pride within, has been a super hit, and in the Children’s Park, the ‘Vikram and Betaal show’ is entertaining crowds while serving good lessons on humanity. So people pouring in, in large numbers, have lots to see and enjoy in this ‘Jova Jevi Duniya’!!
